This model is extremely customizable, offering 3 different pickup combinations in the neck: vintage single coil, split coil and jazz - all paired with a jazz in the bridge position. They also come passive or active, and standard 21 fret or 24 fret.
The fingerboard is on this is Macassar Ebony, inlaid with a spectacular genuine paua abalone tree of life, all over our 3-piece flamed maple/mahogany/flamed maple neck back. One-piece choice Louisiana swamp ash body with a beautiful red to natural burst showing off the grain. The ebony is framed with first grade genuine flamed maple binding, which is very difficult to work and extremely rare to see on any instrument. But it's definitely the last word in elegance. The 5A droptop is a fantastic combination of burl, flame AND spalt, shot in a hand-mixed 3 stage finish and is truly 3 dimensional in person. Matching vertical burst on the neck back shows off the lovely flame.
Hipshot titanium bridge and Hipshot HB-1 tuning machines, Lollar Vintage Single Coil P-Bass neck pickup, and a Lollar Jazz in the bridge, hand-cut bone nut and DR High Beam round wound strings. As an added bonus, this model also comes stock with stereo splitting capability. Plug your regular cord in the side for normal play, but plug a second cord into the top jack and it splits the pickups to run each to a separate channel with independent volume control.
