Custom S LONG SCALE!

Part of our Classic Series, the Custom S pays homage to one of the great guitar designs of the 20th century. They are all hand-crafted using templates cut from actual vintage S style guitars to ensure accuracy in dimensions. They are made one at a time with the finest hand-selected woods and components, and offer the player a level of craftsmanship, playability and customization that no big box factory could ever achieve.

While this is not a baritone, the custom 26" scale on this particular one provides a throatier sound, and is especially useful for those playing slide as well as drop tunings. It provides incredible stability even in drop B or C. It's definitely a one-of-a-kind. This is set up with DR 11 gauge DDT's.

This stunner features a choice one-piece alder body, stunning 5A flamed maple bookmatched drop top, flamed maple/mahogany/flamed maple hand-carved neck back with highlighted 2 stage finish and a baked birdseye maple fingerboard. A separate piece of bookmatched  5A flamed maple makes up the spectacular pickguard, and the Jason Lollar db Humbucker matched set is particularly useful for metal. Master volume and two separate tones, 3-way Oak-Grigsby blade switch, the incomparable Callaham Hard Tail S bridge, and the usual high end electronics, including treble bleed, round this out.
